Welcome to the MRJ website. We hope that it will enable you to see the
full range of programs and resources offered by the Brotherhood Movement
to affiliated clubs and their members. Through this site, contacts with
our leadership and our national staff can be made and are most welcome.
Our national programs are centered in service to men, their families,
their Temples and their communities. Programmatic areas such as Achim
Corps' Men's Health Initiative, the new and innovative Walking Together
program for children and their parents from various faith traditions and
other educational programs in our Jewish Chautauqua Society unit, our
Reform On Campus program providing Jewish resources for our college students,
our Yom Hashoah Candle project, and so many other programs offered by
your national organization to and on behalf of your club are featured
here. Don't forget that MRJ also sends every member of your Brotherhood
the only Jewish men's magazine in North America, ACHIM. Nationally recognized,
ACHIM contains excellent articles and features about being a Jewish man
in today's society.
Many resources for
your local Brotherhood's program and operational needs are also included
in our affiliate-exclusive Key Leader section. Our MRJ Resource guide
and many of our leadership handbooks are downloadable from here. And our
"Men and Observance" series of educational programs which help
men become familiar and comfortable with Shabbat and our holidays are
also available here. Also, learn how you can join our leadership on-line
chat group, 'NFTBLDRS', an active and interesting ongoing discussion of
ways to operate local Brotherhoods in a way that involves and serves more
men. I am personally glad that you are joining us at this on-line resource
and hope that you will find this site helpful. Please let us know of additional
materials you would like to see available. I'd like to hear from you with
your questions, comments and suggestions as we move Brotherhood forward
to serve the men of Reform Judaism.
B'shalom,
Aaron G. Bloom
